The APM PFQ exam tests your knowledge about the principles of project management including the terminology (or "language" of a project manager), roles and responsibilities throughout a project's lifecycle, and the purpose of each step or component of a project. Read More...
The APM PMQ exam tests both your knowledge and understanding about the principles of project management. Though many of the broad topics are covered in the PFQ, the PMQ requires a greater depth of understanding including how each step or component should be approached, why they are important, and how they relate to each other and the strategy of your organisation. The APM offers an adjusted PMQ exam for those holding a valid PRINCE2® Practitioners qualification. This exam is 2 hours + 10 minutes and requires the candidate to answer 6 out of 10 questions. Please provide us with your PRINCE2® Practitioners certificate when enrolling for our PMQ Course to receive a discount.
Passing the PFQ or PMQ exam do not entitle you to any post-nominal letters (or letters after your name). However, having achieved the PMQ qualifies you to become a full member of the APM. Upon acceptance of your full membership, you will be permitted to use the post-nominal MAPM. Please see the APM website for more information on full membership.
Note that having the PFQ alone does not qualify you for full membership in the APM.
